Building a 1/72 Airfix Harrier at the mo, and at the early stages - weaponry separated from sprues, sanded and painted (thought I’d deal with the small stuff first this time!)
4th model built, since childhood, and still learning!
Model has fine panel lines, and I’ve seen a whole load on here where the fuselage is painted in (for example) gull grey, but the panel lines are marked out with very fine lines in black. I’d love to do this, but don’t have an airbrush. I’m guessing they are done by preshading in black, but how do you apply the top coat such that it does not cover the black underneath? Is it possible using brush painting? (even if it isn’t I’d love to know how it’s done!)
