in box review
going to do it on some kind of heli pad with the doors open , after doing reaserch i noticed its not all grey inside as the instructions say and its dirty and as im doing it open doors had too use millieput to add detail will add more as the build continues
cockpit done and interior glued in place to the the first half , then slight weathering , some clear parts added after a dip in alclad Aqua Gloss the rest was painted with Alclad Mil-Spec Paints
Hi,
That’s looking really sharp [:)]
Pat
Yes, I do like the interior and the pit. It shows quite a bit of life.
I was wanting to do a Sea King in 1/48, but it’s my understanding that the Hasegawa kit doesn’t have an interior. I’ll consider the Airfix kit in 1/72.
Nice, been thinking about getting this kit, i want to do one based in the falklands.
Can’t wait to see more.
And yes, they are very dirty inside, i can vouch for that.
thanks guys [:)] tonight fitted a couple bits and tested the fit and interior light from puondland battery christmas lights lol
tonight fitted the other 3 lights , no space in the nose when its 1/72 for 1 led let alone 3 lol so had to attack it with a dremel to make them fit , glued it all together then masked it all and gave it a coat of Alclad grey microfiller/primer
It’s looking great! I want to try LED’s.
cheers mate its fun ,
bit more done today leave it till the morning now eye getting sore
today was Masking clear parts and she now has some colour at last , done some panels with darker primer then used Alclad Mil-Spec RAF Training Yellow ALCE606 then a coat of Alclad Aqua Gloss ALC 600
Most of the painting now done and added the decals so she is ready for a dirty wash and then start the props and fit the doors in open position , still can decide on the base lol
Very nice![t$t]
