When airbrushing Future on a completed aircraft is it necessary to mask canopies that have been already dipped in Future?
Don’t know what others do but - I don’t mask canopies if I’ve already dipped them, glued them to the model and want to airbrush gloss the whole model later. Works for me, YMMV.
I do
If your finished plane has anything but a gloss coat, then you will want to either mask the canopy, or leave it off until all spraying is done. When you spray the matte finish typical for most military aircraft, you will ruin the canopy and lose all transparency if the canopy is sprayed as well.

Thanks Texgunner I’ll leave the canopies off because after decals i want to spray a dull coat. I’m building a Monogram B-17 . I’m just getting back into modeling after being away from it for 25 years.
