Ditto - don’t waste your money
what would you reccomend? I have 150 readily available, with another hundred due sometime this month.
Hernando - where do you live? If you are in the US check out www.dixieart.com and they have free shipping within the US, if not I still know of many people outside the US (Australia etc…) that find it cheaper to buy from them.
The Iwata HP-CR, Omni 4000 and Badger 100Lg all come to mind as fine brushes for around $69 US each… that leaves quite a bit of your money to go for a compressor!
Wow, they have some good deals on there! Which would be the best brush for a beginner and an armorer? Thanks for the help guys.
Any of the 3 actually… The Iwata HP-CR or Omni 4000 as is, or by ordering the Badger 100LG with the medium needle and tip. I haven’t tried the Omni or Badger 100LG but I do have a healthy respect for what I have seen the 100 can do… I do own a HP-CR and love it!!! it can get some good fine detail as well as the all over coverage you would be doing with armor. If you are into the late war German ambush camo and such I would think the HP-CR or the 100LG would be good as (again I haven’t tried the Omni or Badger, I’ve only read comments from the owners) they seem a little more capable of finer detail with less experience…
I would ask this same question in the painting and airbrush forum and see if you can get a wider range of responses to base your decision on… good luck!!!
