I’m building my own spray booth from a plastic tote. It seem,s to me that I seen that some people used a bathroom exhaust fan to vent the fumes. Is this dangerous?
thanks

No.
As long as it’s a brushless motor (as I think they all are now) there is no spark for any sort of ignition as there is in a electric drill motor for example that uses brushes.
Mick.
I find most bathroom fans do not have enough airflow for venting a spray booth. I find 100 cfm an absolute minimum, and 125 or 150 is better. And that is with a filter that is not too restrictive. So be sure and check the flow rate on any fan you are considering.
