What’s a good match for the dark blue color on USAF ground vehicles? It’s near-Navy blue, but a bit flatter. Model Master blue #2031 looks close, but without a good photo or actual vehicle handy, it’s difficult to tell.

First and foremost [#welcome] I think you will enjoy the forum. Lots of great advice.
Second. I have always used FS15042, dark sea blue.
Third. If you are using the vehicles in a diorama, be sure and check your references real good. I have pictures from the Vietnam era showing these vehicles in OD, blue and yellow. Sometimes on the same flight line!!!

Thanks; dark sea blue sounds a bit dark but that may be due to viewing these vehicles in the sunshine. I’m building the Revell issue of the old Renwal Mace and Terracruzer, in 1/32, and the few color photos on the Internet show the USAF dark blue color for the vehicle. This after I purchased two bottles of OD. In any case, the dark blue should look neat with a silver and red bird.
