I bought a cheap no-name battery power air brush with 3 tips, 2mm, 3mm and 5mm. I put them in some cleaning solution and shook the container. I found the 3 inserts that go into the tips had all fallen out. Are the insert and tips supposed to be a match set?
Some models are generic, some aren’t. I would probably assume in your case that they are a match pair
Starting with your largest needle, you can test this by gently slotting each nozzle over the needle, and see if the needle tip extends beyond the nozzle. Your .5mm needle should not pass any other nozzles. Work your way down by a process of elimination.
Once your nozzles are worked out, you can check which nozzle cap is correct. Your largest nozzle should extend the furthest through the largest nozzle cap. Again, work your way down by a process of elimination.
As no doubt you’re aware, these are fragile parts so don’t try to force them in case things get bent or reamed out. The ultimate test is whether that needle/nozzle combo sprays properly, which it won’t do with a bent or improperly seated needle
