Guys,
I happened to see an AH-64 fly over yesterday and it appeared to have Sharks Teeth painted on the nose. All I got was a split second “belly” shot as it went over. I almost didn’t even look up since we have so much helicopter traffic in our area, mostly civilian. I guess it didn’t sound “civilian” so I took a look see. Anybody know what Unit has these markings.
Mel,
Depends. Where do you live? There are a number of units flying with sharkmouths on em now. Give me a location and I could probably nail it down for ya.
Jon
I live in Lafayette, La. and this bird was coming from the West generally. Don’t know if there are any Units at Ft. Polk but Ft. Hood would be that direction also.
White or black teeth? Polk doesn’t have any Apache units. Hood, on the other hand has quite a few. I think the TX Guard birds may have had teeth too.
Jon,
All I noticed was the white teeth and they went all around the belly of the nose. Couldn’t tell if there was any color between them.
hmmm… something like this?

That’s a 4-3rd ACR bird. If I remember correctly, they just got back from overseas.
