I bought the AFV Club kit of the Hawk missile launcher, since i was in a Hawk unit during my military service.
I haven’t even opened the kit yet, but it cries for some crewmen to give a sense of scale. I’ve done some internet searches for appropriate cold war figures or print models with no luck.
The idea of scratch building human figures is too intimidating. Anyone know of another option?
The kit is 1/35 scale, right? There should be tons of 1/35 figures out there that you could use.
In 1/35, unfortunately there are not tons of appropriate Cold War era figures available. Particularly if you are looking for guys in the pre BDU era.
There are a few from Tamiya that come with their M577 and M106 tracks that will work of if you’re looking for guys in the OG-107 pickle suit fatigues. Some older Dragon figures will work for 80’s to Desert Storm troops with BDUs and K-pots.
