Aftermarket detail kits for 1/16 Tamiya Sherman?

I am acquiring the big 1/16 Tamiya Sherman for a first build. Are there photo etch kits for this? I only saw that Aber makes a kit for the Tiger 1. Does anyone make an aftermarket metal gun barrel for this scale Sherman? What about additional detail items such as jerry cans, crates, helmets, etc? Thanks!

Sorry, Lester, I can’t help you with any of that stuff. There are lots of guys out here who probably will be able too. The guys doing the 1/16 Tiger build and Shermanfreak are amazing in their knowledge (as are most of the members).

First of all … welcome to FSM Lester.

There are aluminum gun barrels available for this kit from Brass Barrels.

I haven’t ran across any other detail sets for the 1/16 Sherman, mind you I haven’t looked either, seems I have enough on my hands with 1/35.
