Aftermarket bits (intake cone) for Revell 1/48 MiG-21PF?

Hey peeps,

I am in need of a new shock cone that goes in the intake of this thing. The one in the kit comes to a nice dull, rounded off and off-center pointy end. I tried to brainstorm how to chuck in into a drill so I could spin it up and sand it to a point, but not sure how I can work that out. Does anyone know if a resin aftermarket piece is available for this kit? My Google-fu turned up nothing.

Yeah, it’s a crappy mold. I doubt there are any aftermarket parts. I fixed one for a friend not too long ago. I colored it with a sharpie and used sanding sticks until I got a nice even sharp point. It’s pretty easy, just take your time.
