Hello, I was wondering if someone could give me some info (age, how much it’s worth) about this airbrush. I still have the little case it came in. On the inside of the lid in gold letters on blueish purple velvet is : TRADE MARK AEROGRAPH THE AEROGRAPH CO. LTD 43.HOLBORN VIADUSIL LONDON.EC. The brush itself has TYPE AEA stamped on one side and PAT No2900438 on other side. In the middle is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND other side of that is 6 L 2 7 .Then on other end is stamped TRADE AEROGRAPH MARK. Any help would be appreciated.
Story goes that Charles Burdick invented the double action trigger & sold the US rights to Thayer & Chandler, he then moved to England & set up the Fountain Brush company to manufacture airbrushes in the late 1800’s.
The company name was soon changed to Aerograph & the company was later sold to Devilbiss & the airbrushes became the “Devilbiss Aerograph” series.
The rights ultimately passed to Artcoe based in England ( www.artcoe.com ) - from what I can tell Aerograph brushes are still made by Artcoe, but on a limited basis with suppliers listing as “built to order”.

Thanks, Mine is the then one.Any idea how much it is worth?
No, not a clue I’m afraid. I’ve seen original boxed & working Aerographs go for as little as £20 on Fleabay & more recent Devilbiss Aerographs going at the £70 mark.
