How are they? I want one of their conversion kits of resin and was wondering about their quality. Panzeshop.cz- how are they? are they trustowrthy and good to ship to the US? Thanks.
Hit-n-miss. Do a forum search on many model sites like rec.models.scale, Missing-Lynx, HyperScale, etc. and you will see many complaints about poor service, bad quality control, incomplete sets being received.
You will also see a lot of folks jump in to defend them and say their stuff is top notch.
I’ve ordered from them and their stuff was OK, a turret piece was broken off (without the broken off part in the box). I’ve also had a T-72 turret that was beautiful.
I’ve heard much the same as the good major. Some castings are excellent, and others are not up to standard. Missing or broken pieces, some warped barrels, etc.
They do have some conversions that I want, so one of these days I’ll probably give them a try. It’s just hard to pull the trigger on a purchase like that, product unseen, for the first time.
I got a T-55 set from them recently. Seems to be pretty decent, although I am waiting on a replacement deck as the one I got wasn’t what I needed. Their customer service was excellent.
My experience with AEF has also been hit or miss. Some stuff is good, some is bad and some is just plain forgettable. I recommend that you buy Panzershop kits from a dealer in the states. I almost ordered from them, but at the time they didn’t have a secure order form.
