Advice for Vallejo Matt Varnish and Metal Colour Dull Aluminium.

Hi,

I’ve been using these two Vallejo products and have questions.

When using Matt Varnish 70.520, I found I have to drastically increase airbrush pressure to get any varnish to flow. This was the same even when diluting with water as per bottle instructions is this normal?

When using Metal Colour 77.717 I find it hard to control. It seems to spray in a very wide pattern, even when using my 0.2 airbrush and low pressure

is this normal?

I have regularly used the Matte Varnish without any problems thinning with their Thinner and their Flow improver @15-18 psi

Can’t help you with the Metal stuff,but using their proprietary thinner and flow improver might help.
