Adam Savage (of Mythbusters lore) has a YouTube channel called “Adam Savage’s Tested”. He covers quite a few topics spanning from Film Effects, to Space Exploration, Kitbashing, and Scratchbuilding.

Adam, at one time, worked for Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) as a Model Builder. In some of his “One Day Builds” he shows off some of his techniques and imparts a few modeling secrets of the pros.

Thanks for this. I watched several of Adam’s episodes. Not terribly informative as I found out I already scratch using most of the techniques he explains but still very interesting.
