out of theese 3 paints (acrylic, enamel, and laquer) which is the best paint to use?
All of the above. Each has it’s pros and cons.
My personal preferences (and they are no more than that):
Acrylic, particularly Tamiya and Polly Scale.
Alclad II lacquer for metalics. I’ve yet to try the new acrylic metal finishes.
I prefer acrylics as well. Tamiya is what I use mostly. I have heard that Gunze Sangyo is good too, though sometimes hard to find in local hobby shops. I only wish there were more choices of matte colors in Tamiya spray cans.
Each paint type has it’s pros and cons and different techniques. I’d suggest trying each out and seeing which works best for you.
I agree…there is no “best”. It’s all a question of preference and application.
I personally prefer MM enamels for the majority of my painting. However, I’ll use acrylic clear paints when needed, acrylic craft paint for some detail painting, automotive sandable spray primer, Alclad laquers for metal finishes, and artists oils for some weathering and figure work.
