i recently got this kit in 1/48 v cheap…[:D]
the instructions are all in japanese, so i don’t know which sqn or unit it depicts, but it has full d-day invasion stripes[;)]
only problem is that the fuselage stripes are 2 massive decals contaning the roundel and serial code and work no…it looks impossible to cut out!![B)]
i’ve checked egle cal and cutting edge etc but can’t find any aftermarket XIVc decals out there with full invasion stripes (i like masking them myself)
can anyone help me please?

nick - I built that kit years ago, and used the decals for the fuselage & wings. They fit pretty well, but there is some overlap that will show if you don’t trim it (I didn’t).
This is one of my derelicts that was broken in my last move. I have no idea where the wing panels & tailwheel are !
As you can see by the fin flash, my decals were a little out of register.
