Just got my Academy Sheridan frow S. Korea only took 6 days to get to the UK, anyway has anybody else got one, the moulding quality is great and far superior to the old Tamiya kit but I heard there were some queries about accuracy. Can anyone enlighten me? Now where are my Jaguar Sheridan relacement tracks?
New review up at Perth Military Modeling Society:

Now if only someone will do the Ontos you see in the background of the box art… lol
Thanks for the review link. This kit will look good on the shelf. What modifications would be needed to bring this kit up to a ODS Sheridan? Hopefully Academy will release a later version and the Ontos.

We live in hope of an affordable Ontos, the only other one I have come across is by Nimix at Eur 69.40 ( £47.80 $89.91) plus postage!!
Can’t wait for this kit to make it to the great white north. Thanks for the review link.
Have read the review, thanks for the link. So its not 100% accurate but acceptable and much better than Tamiya, Hopefully a Gulf War option will follow, now to convert my Tamiya Sheridan into an OPFOR T-72.
I have been looking forward to this one. Hopefully they have improved their decals. Their Stuart decals were terrible.
Looks like an interesting kit.
The PMMS review says that it has the equipment sprues coming from the earlier Sherman kits! [:p] (A cheap shot on my part – that’s a very easy typo to make.)
I didn’t even catch a typo!
I want one, been waiting too many years for a decent M551
Actually, it is true. Academy and DML do this often. On some of the DML kits, you only use one or two pieces off the earlier sprue and are left with lots of parts for the spares box. Good deal if you ask me. Lots of spare parts.
Found it list as a future release on www.greatmodels.com website tonight, no price lsited
I read a post about getting the Sheridan from overseas on another site. IIRC they ordered the kit from Hobbylink Japan and say it looks very good in the box. Depending on the what the release date will be here, ordering from HLJ may be the quickest way to get the kit.
There are a whole bunch on Ebay by a S. Korean hobby shop as well. Not too bad if you have to be the first to get one, $21.98 Buy It Now price and $13 shipping.
