I recently got an academy f-18 hornet, and am well into it. It was going well uintil my dog got ahold of a major part. I looked through the academy website, and it said nothing about replacement parts! Does anyone have any idea where i can call or go to get this part?
thanx,

I thought that was a “grade school” excuse for missing homework! “My dog ate it!” Sorry, couldn’t resist. I did a search and MRC is the distibutor of Academy kits in the USA. Go to www.modelrectifier.com/ and they have a “Contact” page and it has E-mail and phone numbers to call for help. Best of luck!
Sorry for getting in
I live in Portugal, and placed a part’s request in Academy’s BBS in January 2003, and until now, zippo!!!
Do you think that store can help me???
Is that i’ve got an F-14A cranked, waiting for the parts…
I’ve almost put it away for scrap for a lot of times, but since i could’nt do it in such a cold heart…
And any F-14 deserves my consideration!!!
F14 FAN ,
Best of luck.
In my experience ,Korean companies aren’t very customer oriented.
You may be better off going through the company that imported your kit, and if you get anywhere it will take forever - anyone got a spare windscreen and turret for the Minicraft PV1 harpoon gunship?
i am still looking for the missing canopy for my PBY-5 Catalina that was missing in the kit., in fact, the whole darn clear parts tree was missing. Monogram says it is out of production and i am sucking wind
