The only reason I even know about the mags is I found cases and cases of them in a warehouse at Camp LeJeune. [:D]

we had a 106 mounted on wheels right behind my bunker, and the SF guys would shoot it a couple times a month. I cannot ever remembering them using a magazine. I do remember the short fat spent cases from the fifty. But most of all I remember the back blast! Nobody liked that gun
