Academy 1/32nd scale Israeli F-16I SUFA

Mission complete!!. Academy did a great job on the kit. A ton of options to choose from. Here’s a rundown of the aftermarket items I used. All of the ordinance is from Reskit. Cockpit was updated using Quinta Studios. Wheels and engine are also from Reskit. The landing gear is Scale Aircraft Conversions.
I wanted to pose it traveling on a taxiway. The base was covered with 150 grit sandpaper. I used 3M contact adhesive to put it down. It was then painted with several different shades of Tamiya grey. The “sand”,on the sides, is concrete patch purchased from Lowes. It’s premixed in a small tub.

Love how dynamic that scene looks. I can almost feel it speeding up that runway. I’m not too sure why, but it’s the feeling I get !
And so detailed too, of course..very cool work !
