About moisture traps...?

Okay, I’ve had an airbrush for…TWO YEARS!! [:D][xx(][xx(] And I can´t believe that ten almost-ruined projects later I stll haven’t asked. My compressor spits water all the time. What is a moisture cap and how do I use it correctly?

Go to Sears and buy a moisture trap. They are in the hardware department where the air tools are sold. Connect the moisture trap to the end of the hose which came with your airbrush. Two other suggestions: 1. Place your air compressor, if possible in a controlled atmosphere such as a garage or inside of the house; 2. If your airbrush is more than 10 feet away from the compressor then attach another moisture trap directly to the out-feed connection of the compressor so that you now have two traps in your line. They’re cheap. Good luck.

I use a Badger airbrush, and have a Badger hose with in - built moisture trap which works very well. You can get them from the likes of Bear-Air or DixieArt.
