Here’s a technique I now use after much frustration and swearing assembling these little buggers.
Glue the base of the hinge on the kit then glue whatever tool you are mounting and build the rest of the hinge around it glueing each part in turn, that way you are only dealing with one stupidly small piece at a time instead of three bits that can at any time fly off into oblivion never to be seen again. Of course you render the hinge not workable with this method but at least you retain a modicum of sanity.
