AA Super HET questions...

Has anyone here built the Accurate Armor M1070 HET/M1000 Trailer combo? I have just picked up a consignment to build one today. Can’t wait to get it and get started, should have it by Friday. Any problem areas or shortcomings to be aware of? Any advice?

Only problem I can see initially is that I will have to give it back to the consigner when completed. May just want to keep it for myself.

Not at $500 each. Too rich for my pockets. I guess I’ll just have to enjoy building it for someone else (who has money to burn). Actually, it will be a farewell gift from the unit for the guys commanding officer, he commands a HET Bn.

This sure would be a wonderful kit in styrene Gino! Maybe one of these days we’ll get lucky and see one, but by then it will probably cost us $500.00 !!! LOL. At least you’ll have had the pleasure having built one of these behemoths. I’ve kind of been leaning toward building some of the larger towed vehicle combinations myself. Have the M26 Dragon wagon in planning right now. This will be one of my largest efforts to date, and just completed the AFV M18 as the trailored vehicle. Can’t wait to see what you do with this monster kit, HeavyArty! I know you’ll make it look just like the real thing, and I look forward to the posts with your updates and insights. Now, if I could just get those pesky lottery numbers to match up, I’d be able to get one for myself…
