A Wolf in sheep's clothing - Ju 88C-6 finished

Very, very nice. Another showpiece.

Beauty!!

I like it! A lot. How long did you take to build it?

Derwin

Thanks berny, Marc, Darren, Matthew, ModelNerd, and Derwin !

Marc - if you’re building the Ju 88A-4, get your PE soon. It isn’t in Eduard’s current online catalog, but Squadron has it in stock. There are different items for the cockpit, and another sight for the gun in the front cockpit.

Derwin - it took about six weeks, while working on three other projects. There’s probably 200 hours or so in this build.

Thanks again !

Pix,
Nice build as always.

Thanks Philip !

Since I haven’t done an “in-flight” pic in a while, I thought this one was a good candidate. The aircraft in the background is Accurate Miniatures Yak 1. This was done with Photoshop, including the “ageing.” The props are digital.

Great looking build Pix, my Dad (OPJPR) is building this kit right now…

Hey were did you go, we miss you over at Scalehobby…

Wow i’m kinda speechless… How do you make the “Flat” tire effect? All kits i’ve seen make perfectly round tires but you really caught the “weigth” of the aircraft on the wheels… What’s the secret? Heat?

Georgeous work, Pix! Thanks for sharing!

THanks rossjr, QiKsilverX, and knight !

rossjr - I always forget to size pics for Scale Hobby. I do 1024 x 768, 800 x 600, and 200 x 150 (website thumbs). By the time I’m done, I forget to do 640 x 480. I’ll go through my stuff and do a big post soon.

QiKsilverX - I guess you missed reading the last line of the first paragraph in this thread. The wheels are True Details resin. They are cast like that, and there is a wide selection in many scales from Squadron. They usually only cost a couple bucks, but can make a BIG improvement on some kits.

Thanks again !

Remember Pix you only have to size them to that if you are going to post the pics in your thread. You can always just put a link to your site or here if that makes it any easier. We just miss having you there…[:D]

Very nice Pix
