I cut and split some used scotchbrite and pulled each layer apart to thin it out.

The purpose is to create simple vines and fill behind the leaves giving depth when applied to the turret and elsewhere.

I’m going to have to add some more lead weight to the forward portion of the hull to get those movable bogies positioned better.
I used some gauze and string for that gaggle of camouflage midway down the barrel.

I’d thought about it. Good question.
All traffic in and out of this particular vehicle had to be gained through the turret hatches. Navigating all the inherent topside fixtures in addition to the leaves and branches would surely impede any urgent movement, increasing the risk for injury, not to mention obscuring the periscopes.
