Niels,
You are doing a fantastic job on her as usual and thanks for posting your progress. I am always impressed with your models and it inspires me to try thinking In terms of scratch built parts and opening closed gun ports, etc… I have the English Man O’ War in my stash as well as the Imai Spanish Galleon and the larger Revell Mayflower that I have been thinking how I could open up those ports, so thanks!
Where did you find that picture you are basing your build on as well as the cannon you are using, where are they from?
Steve
Always good to here from you Steve. The picture is in " Sailing Ships by Cedric Rogers " on p age 17 lower right. And the cannon are from a revel 1/96 U.S.S. Constitution. I have the IMAI Spanish Galleon as well and I recommend using the cannon from a Heller 1/150 Le Superbe.
Niels,
Cool and thanks for the info; I’ll keep a lookout for the book, it looks interesting and it gives me an excuse to buy another book. For research you understand… Your build just keeps getting better and thanks for posting.
Steve
Niels,
I love the bunnies! Are you going to rig them pray tell?! I’m not sure if that is the Le Glorieux or the Le Superbe but it looks great in the case. Did you build the case?
Steve
Please post a link to make those Hares!
It’s the Le Glorieux Steve, and I had the case made for me.
GMorrison–are you asking me to photograph each fold on the rabbit on the box, and post it–like a build thred ? It’s quite complicated.
Only if you have it already as a printed instruction.
