I’ve heard that the Su-35 and Su-37 have the K-36DM ejection seat inclined 30º backwards… Is that true? I already bought my True Details seat in 1/72 and will scratchbuild a new cockpit tub for my Nakotne/Encore/Berkut/Zvezda Su-37… Pics will come as soon as I finish the fuselage modifications… Thanks a lot in advance. I have the Concord Publications photo book of the Su-27, which also includes some of the later variants. They show a cockpit of the Su-35 Super Flanker with the K-36DM seat. I can’t tell if it is canted any more to the rear than on a standard Su-27 but the seat looks somewhat different. If you have no reference photos of the seat then this book would at least give good color reference.

Finally! A question I can answer! Yes. The latest protoypes have their seats at 30 degrees to help with G-Forces.
