Welcome to the Forums…

The dio is most excellent and looking at it over and over leaves me with many questions…Are you using oils on your figures?..Is that corkboard your making your bricks out of? I my opinion your dark wash looks great, but thats just me.

I cant help but wounder what is lurking down the street that has them all worried. Great job.

Thanks for the show.

wow it’s looking like a painting!
it’s all in perfect harmony!!
i’m impressed,thanks for sharing

thank you all for your kind words,
some answers,
I’ve made the bricks from cork board, 2 mm thick, and there is some detailing with cork 5 mm thick.
it is a method developed by carlos elias who in IMHO is one of the greatest building maker there is (and dios too :)).

there is no wash on the figures, and it seems tehre is because the photos are of bad quality using flash which ruind the variation of colors - Ill notify when I take better pictures after the dio is finished.

I paint the skin with oils, and the uniforms in humbrol. this time I also tried to used a combination of oils and humbrol on some of the figures (bazooka team for instance).

Im not very happy with the sherman as it turned out very dark, I should have lightened the colors a lot more than I did, but there must always be romm for improvement ;).

the site is an israely site, so thats the reason for the strange language

Very patient work Brax, very pleasing to the eye to look at! The story of street fighting has undoubtably happened time after time and it is portrayed here wonderfuly! Love the cork
work, this I have also tried with satifaction. Excellent work and welcome to the site.

Damn!! that about says it all.
Nice , oeps verry nice dio dude!
Never mind ur dark sherman, who’s gonna tell if it isn’t 1930 hours and dusk sets in?
Nice nice , and I thought Israelians where only experts in demolition[:o)][}:)][^]

Great work on the dio ,is great
Congratulations
Pedro

Wonderful job on the dio. Bryan

Wow, I like this alot, very cool. The Sherman looks great, and the figures are top notch. The house is amazing, and the street is killer. Excellent, very excellent.

That is some impressive work you’ve got there. Thanks for sharing it with us. Your figures are most impressive to me, something I seem to have a lot of trouble getting right.

You definitely captured the tenseness and pause of the moment. Layout is fantastic, very well done. Thank you for sharing.

One of the absolute best dios I have seen ever. Really remarkable.
