A long term project(longer than I thought!!!)

This project resulted in me not having anywhere to display my Bentley cars. I have never built a car before - nothing but 1:24 trucks and trailers until then. After seeing the car, I bought three, all different makes, but all 1:24 scale. I then had the idea of displaying them on a transporter. It was supposed to be 1:24/1:25 but none of my 1:24 trucks look right, therefore I`m having to build my very first 1:25 rig. Only one rig and two cars to do. [#dots]

a very nice job but…

in this country anybody with those types of cars ships them in 1 of 2 kinds of large trailers

(because of the value and rarity of the cars like that ) either a solid sided (metal) trailer or a trailer like what you have done with canvas curtains on it.

so to futher add to the time you spent on this VERY NICE trailer you may want to add the nessary bars etc to it and maybe simulate some canvas curtains too[2c]

Im not sure why its happening - but you need to click on the photos to get the full veiw.

Its almost complete. Only two more Bentlys to build and thats it. The decals on the Peterbilt were produced on Microsoft Word and help to give the rig a more authentic look. The perfectionists will no doubt cringe at me using a Euopean tail lamp cluster. I had the bits box out and couldn`t stop!!! LOL

Heya,

I used to work at the BlueBeacon Truck Wash, so I saw alot of these Peterbuilts come through. You did a really nice job, I have seen those car haulers carrying alot of different cars from new models to classics. Good job man and best of luck on the finished product.
