Hey all!
I have finally been able to get time ot work on my workbench to try and finish a few kits off. I also started two new Group Builds (IDF and MAD Leopard), so feel free to check them out for other projects I’m working on.
Here is the Bergetiger I’ve been doing. This pic was taken after I’d applied the decals, but before re-applied the wash:

I’ve done a wash and sprayed a dullcoat on this bad boy since this pic was taken. I’ll be doing a bit more weathering on this before I take any more pics of it, but I’ll post them when it’s done.
I also decided to start my old Esci 1/72 scale M1A1 Sherman tank. The Theme for my upcoming IPMS club contest is “Victory in Europe”, and I wanted something else besides my Bergetiger to take for that Theme. This kit was started yesterday (Saturday) and I was able to get alot done. I passed on putting the engine inside, since the tank was going to be buttoned up. I plan on building the engine later and mounting it on a stand, as if it was being readied for repair/maintenance.
Here is the running gear and tracks all assembled:

Here I have a pic of the turret test fit to the upper hull after I’d assembled the turret and applied all the details on the upper hull. You can see the main gun sitting next to it ready to be installed once the glue holding it together dries:

This pic shows the whole thing test fit together. I’d finally installed the main gun to the turret, after finding out earlier that I’d put the gun on the mantlet upside down. Problem fixed:

Finally, just before I came out here to post these, I got this last pic taken of my Sherman sporting it’s base coat of Olive Drab with the wheels painted black.

Well, these are the progress pics I’ve got so far. I should have more work done soon and get more pics posted.
Thanks for stopping in to check it out. Comments are welcome.
