I believe this was the old Aurora 737 model. Story behind it is I picked this up from the local hobby shop owner who had it setting on a shelf in his office….yellowing and UAL decals flaking off. I asked if he wanted it re-finished but he just gave it to me and said to keep it since he was considering tossing it.
Stripped it with Purple Power and started anew with the JANET livery. The leading edge slats and Krueger flaps were done with thin styrene stock. Takeoff flaps were set by scribing them just enough to bend them down. Landing gear were set in-transit in the retract mode. 3D decals for passenger and cockpit windows. Appropriate custom base made for the display.
Thanks! Those are 3/8” acrylic rods that I got off Amazon. Bent the shape over a PVC pipe with heat gun, concave shaped the upper vertical rod attachment point with a Dremel using a grout removal bit. Secured the “cradle” with quick set clear epoxy.
