The Scenario: You must suddenly leave your home- for any reason.
You have room in your GOOD (Get Out Of Dodge) bag to save for only one unbuilt kit.
What kit would you choose?
Now this is one TOUGH question for sure! LOL.
Maybe my most expensive, the RoG 1/350 Bismarck, or the one it took me longest to finally attain, my S-3 Viking, or the Academy 1/35 CH-53E, because I “lived” on them for 2.5 years. But then maybe the decal set book wth all my AM decals from Klaus.
Hard choice. Hope I never have to make that decision.

Ugh…I guess…my 1/48 Su-27 (Academy). The Flanker family has to be my favorite planes…but could I maybe bring an additional kit? please?
Oh boy, just one? But I have two arms… I am not sure if you only have one arm or something like that.
In that case, I will have to grab that TASCA Sherman kit I bought recently as my birthday present and my birthday is not even up for two more months. [A] I didn’t think of this earlier… from now on I will stuff all AM kits into the box so it still count as one unbuilt kit, right?

Slightly off topic, but yet still related… when I was younger and my parents were posted to Kabul (the mid '70’s, before the Russians…) all US gov. staff and dependants had to keep 1 medium-sized suitcase packed and ready to roll just in case. And we had to practice emergency evacs to the airport all hours of the day and night , just in case. I can well remember sitting in the lounge with my suitcase and wondering if we were going to get on that big Air France 747 over there, or perhaps that Lufthansa bird over there… apparently there was a deal among the western ex-pat community that whomever had the big birds would fly out as many people as possible and sort it all out later. Good times to be a kid!
I always wear really, REALLY big pants around the, just in case this situation should arise… I don’t have to choose just one!!!
However, if I happen to be lounging around in my Speedo (it’s a bit too big, so I wear suspenders to keep em up, but that’s not important here) I’d probably grab my 1/48 Classic Airframe P-51H, just because everything else I have is still readily availiable. I could probably get a 1/72 Academy kit down the front of my speedo too…not much in the way there, as I am hung like a fieldmouse!!!

Although I can’t imagine a scenario that would call for it (I’ve had to leave the house for good before, but packed about everything I wanted or needed, including my kits & tools in the El Camino) but ONE kit, eh?
I guess it’d have to be my Phantom Mustang… I paid 16.00 bucks for it on clearance at Hobby Lobby about a year ago and don’t think I’d ever score it again for that price…

Hoo Boy. Just one…? Well I’d have take my Panther G Smart Kit. Even though I have the older Dragon G built, I know I can do way better on my favorite tank.
The Italeri Steyr RSO w/ PaK 40 SPG, because with all the Aber PE sets for it, it will take about three years to build, lol
