Very nice a fine build
Thanks Mark and mkhoot.
Mark, I am going to attempt a spur of the moment Do335 Arrow. I saw one at the Air and Space Museum in DC in August and have the urge. Hopefully I finish in time to present it to my father for Xmas (which means the P-38 idea is on hold).
Very nice.I especially like the panel detail and weathering.
Great looking build! [bow]
You’ve inspired my next project(s)…I think I’ll be getting the Italeri a-20g and then maybe the revell b-26 or the yet to be released hasegawa 72nd b-26. Those 2 planes just look so good together.
Haha…thank you, Ted. But I have to say: the B-26 is a bear of a kit. I struggled with it for many months, shelving it twice in frustration. I build two separate complete kits between the time I started on the B-26 and the time I finished.
With patience and skill it can be made into a gem, but I found my current skill limits during that build! I’l like to make a B-17 to place next to them, OD over neutral grey.
The A-20 was a fun kit. Please post pics of your build
Thanks for the warning on the marauder. I’ve read some reviews stating the same, but I’d really like to have an A-20 and B-26 in 1/48 scale. I’ll have to stock up on the putty if I pull the trigger on a revell B-26 purchase [:)]
The marauder is my favorite bomber from WW2 with the havoc a close second so I’ve been itching to build both.
A B-17, B-26, and A-20 would make for a great display[#toast]
Hey man thanks for sharing!
Looks great. [tup]
