Good day all, here is my question. I have a 1/32 Hasegawa F6F 3/5 Hellcat that I am going to start on. I have checked and it seems that Eduard only makes the interior photoechted set for the Trumpeter kit. Can anyone tell me if I can still use the Eduard set for my Hasegawa kit or is there another company that makes these interiors. If anyone tried this and it came out good please advise as I can start on this kit. Thanks for all and appreciate any info.
Hector, Verlinden used to make a resin interior set which I used on a Hasegawa 1/32 F6F that I built. I used the Eduard PE panel with it. Here is a link to my F6F with photos of that set. You might have to sand down the set made for the Trumpeter kit because they got the fuselage shape a bit fat in that area.
Hi John, thanks for the info. I am sure I saw the set you are talking about, and I think SpruceBrothers has that set. I will see if I can find it. This model has the box stuff and I just wanted to liven up the Hellcat. I saw your pics and the rest of your models, really nice. After I get this thing done I will have to find a place for it for sure. I donate some of the models I make to the VFW near here as they have a little museum there and they appreciate the models. Thanks again and take care.
John, just went online and I found the Verlinden set for the Hellcat at $14.95 from Scale Hobbyist. Looks nice so I guess I will use that. Thanks again for your great help. Keep building amigo.
You are most welcome, Hector.
