Im weathering my 234/3 (same hull as Puma) for a competition on Saturday with MIG pigments. I was wondering where it would get dust from West Europe. Would it be covered in dust everywhere or would it just be around the tires?
Thanks a lot
From some books I have, panzer colors I, II, and III - Vehicles in france have a light coat of a buff colored dust. Some have the dust just on the chassis, others are covered in it.
It’s possible in any theater that a vehicle would be covered in dust to the point it’s color would be completely disguised, but as a rule with models, weathering should be heavier near the ground. You don’t want to completely cover up all your great work, so understating it some would probably be better.
