Here’s isl my first try at the inside roof, opinions please. I started with a Grey primer, Tamiya Wooden Deck Tan, highlights are Tamiya Browm/JGSDF, Tamiya clear yellow, Tamiya clear orange. I know that it looks glossy, it will have a gloss coat finish when it’s all built. That’s my concoction i used.

That’a a good start.
I would take a dry brush, dip it in alcohol (or Tamiya thinner), shake off excess, then brush in the direction of the woodgrain.
That should draw the darker paint along the lines of the grain and even things out.
Interested to see how this T turns out…i built a lot of antique cars when I was a kid. Dad had several 1/1 cars that he restored himself, including a 1917 T.

Nice technique, but are those circles supposed to be there or are they molding artifacts?

Thank you, they are from the molding machine. I didn’t think much of them, not going to be seen.
