Greetings Walking Dead fans,
I’m looking to see if anyone would be interested in a group build using the Walking Dead as the theme. The build would run from mid-July `14 until either the start(Oct’14) or finish(Apr’15) of the fifth season. I haven’t decided on the final criteria yet, but nothing too far out - just the vehicle (including surplus) you’d like to use, with defensive modifications, if the world went to crap. I’m open to suggestions.
Greg, I’ve often been inspired to build something crazy like this. I always wanted to try to build something outrageous from the video game Twisted Metal. I think the same idea could be applied to a zombie threshing machine. I’d be in for this if the timeline was longer as I have too many GB’s on the go right now. I’d be wanting to do something like a Semi truck teeming with blades and ridiculous weaponry!!

I know what you mean about “too many GBs,” I have the same problem. With an end date in April `15, that would give a 9-month build window. Is that long enough for you?
I’m concurrently occupied with the SciFi build with a big Cylon raider which is in the home stretch and Century Series 106 which is should be done by end July. Aug starts the big WW1 Group build that’ll take me prob to Oct’ish for a big show in Montreal. You know, I think I could commit to this one afterall now that I really take stock…hook me up with a big ‘ole semi truck that’ll be totally epic!! I’ll start lookin’ for one if we get more interest in this one. Keep in mind that I’ll only be able to start in late fall. Cheers!!

Didn’t someone recently post pics of Duane’s Rat chopper, complete with swastikas ! I’m a bit confused as to the subject matter, as most of the vehicles just seem to be dirtier, dustier versions of modern cars. Now, if you were doing a GB based on, say, Book of Eli vehicles ,
