Eatthis: found this article… not sure if this is what your looking for… also found this pic, thought it was cool Bad day but Cool. My dad works up at Bangor International Airport, (Central Maine) and he has seen something simular to this except the concorde was on the ground.
thanks for the help mate what im after is the if you look top down on the plane with its nose in landing config what do you see through the main windscreen in front of the cockpit
hmmm ok interesting… you can try www.airliners.net they have tone’s of pics of concorde’s you very well may be able to find something their. I will poke around a little more to too help you out.
So interesting thought when I was looking at these pics, does a piece of the windshield recess down when the nose tilts like that for landing??? Reason i ask is looks like its a section of windshild their on top. from the second picture it looks like it goes back up when in flight.
Looks awsome!!! To bad they have been having engine troubls. If they had Pratt and Whitney engines instead of Rolls Royce they wouldnt have that problem lol!!!
B17 she’s a looker for sure!!! Well Done!!![t$t] I agree about the Pratt’s, or at least GE’s! I have a book called Air Freighters, and in there they have many pics of the C-46’s used in La Paz, Bolivia. One of the captions said, When operating at these altitudes with heavy loads, you have to trust in God and Pratt & Whitney! Lol I thought that was great![t$t]
