Just call me lucky!! The company that I work for, which is based in Crawley, West Sussex, England, has sent me there for advanced training for the whole month of July. Crawley is right next to Gatwick Airport. Gatwick is about 30 miles south of London. London is about 30 miles east of Farnborough Air Base. The Farnborough Air Show, which only happens every two years and is the largest air show in the world, will be happening while I’m here in Crawley this weekend (Saturday 22 July 2006). So, guess where I’ll be this Saturday… WOW!! Talk about good timing, huh? Anybody else going to the show (I know some of you UK types look at this website!)? I’ll try to post as many pictures as I can after I get back. My camera can hold 794 pictures at 5 Megapixel resolution (it has a 2GB Memory Stick in it), so I’ll be taking lots of pictures. Supposedly, the new Airbus A380 is going to be there. If anyone wants close-ups of it, just let me know.
