I haven’t used either one but they both appear very similar in stats. The only difference being the price and what they come with. The sim air comes ready to spray… the Paasche while cheaper, needs a regulator and water trap. Given the average price for these when done buying them it will cost you about the same as the Simair.
If noise isn’t a problem a regular compressor from Lowes or a hardware store would work just as well and only costs about $70.00 US. Then about $20 or a regulator and $10 for a water trap and you are set! Another benefit is they usually have a 2 gal air tank on them which means the compressor doesn’t come on as often and any ‘pulsing’ of the air because of the compressor would be eliminated.
If noise is a problem then stick with one of the ones you found or visit www.badger-airbrush.com and look on their garage sale where they have refurbished compressors for $99 with a warranty.
Miguel, I join Tom on this, both compressors seem very similar ( apart of the regulator and moisture trap which can both become essential ) but they are what I would call discreet, they’re not literally silent . Go see the garage sale on Badger site and you’ll see a bargain
( I’d rush if i were you as it won’t stay long, in my opinion )
Now, if noise is not a problem, you can see reasonable prices at hardware stores.
