I just got a Tamiya 1/35 U.S. 2.5 ton cargo truck and I was wondering if any1 has some tips 4 me or even pics. Thanx a lot I really appreciate the help.[:D]

ive got one its a great kit
the only tip i can think right now about the model is make it in sub assemblys ie the Cab the flatbed and the chassis
here a pick of it dry fitted for painting
and a photo of it as it is now (it still needs to have its markings and weathering, i just cant make my mind up on the way to apply the markings or what divisions[:)] )

This was my first ever land vehicle model…it was very easy to build. The kit had great fit all the way through…and there are tons of aftermarket details if you are up to buying them. I would suggest getting Italeri’s Jerry Can set if you want the back filled with that…otherwise-- the sky is the limit!
if you use the wrinch try and replace the rope in the kit for some nylon rope the same size, with the rope you get strands all over the place, just like i have
i only noticed the strands after it was painted and was too late to do anything about it [V]
