I’ve got a couple of 1988 Ford Thunderbird kits. Does anyone know if or where I could get a body kit for it? This is the real world body kit that was available.

There was a Mercury Cougar 1990 I think that had some optional parts for the lower body sides, nose and tail. I’m not sure if they would fit perfectly, but I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be far off. The cars look to have the same body styles.

Edit. Found a picture of these parts, not really what I thought they were.
A better option may be cutting the lower panels from a fox body Mustang GT, but you would probably have to do work on those as well, however it a more squared off design that is closer to what you want.

Monogram did an 87 T-Bird that came with a body kit that you are asking about.
The kit is out of production but can still be found.
