1969 GTX CONVERTABLE COMPLETED LAST YEAR

Here is a project I was working on and off for the last 4 years. I wanted it to be a white collar “bought it off the lot and had some custom paint and wheels added” kind of vibe, as it would have been in 1969-1970 era.

Let me know what you think…

PANZERJAGER

I like it! Looks great! You did a very nice job. How did you do/what did you use for the “wood grain”? Rudy

Glad you like it Rudy,

I used an old Scale-Master wood grain decal sheet and lots of Solvaset for the wood.

PANZERJAGER

Barrett-Jackson worthy!

Wow!

Thanks man.

PANZERJAGER

Wow, that is a stunner.

awesome build !!

midnightprowler and crown r n7, thanks glad you guys like her!

PANZERJAGER

Fantastic build, very realistic!

Toshi

Now thats a beautiful rendition of a pretty rare car. 426 w/ a 4-spd… the “gentlemans muscle car”! [H]

Thanks MM!

Just realized I never added a tach. to the dash…

Toshi, Glad you like the GTX.

PANZERJAGER

Panzerjager…VERY…VERY…tidy.

The interior and the engine bay are sweet - super clean. I love the red accents to the black stripes. That thing is a real head-turner.

Thanks leemitcheltree!

Glad you like her.

The red strires were made with decal paper sprayed with the interior color, then cut into strips and applied before the clear.

Also the “Wire Wheels and knockoff’s” are my custom resin castings sprayed with Alclad Chrome.

Dangit! I missed this one too!! Old Mopars are my favorite!!! Awesome interior, engine bay and paint!

Hey glad you like her man!!!

But if you are a Mopar fan, why the handle “mustang1989”?

Because I’m a Fox body Mustang fan first.

Nothin’ wrong with that!

Hey !

What’s this ? A photoshopped car on a model worktable ? Naw , I see it’s a model .Dayum good one too . Mope , you hit the ball out of the park with this one . Please don’t mess up the interior with an add on tach . Please ? T.B.

Just so wrong…

Thanks TB, I’ll think about the tach.

Glad you like her though, that interior took a lot of blood, sweat & tears…
