1969 Ford Mustang BOSS 302

here’s some more pictures

That’s one clean ride! The wheels look just right, how’d you detail them?

Glenn

Fantastic.I wish I could put a finish like that on a car.

Thank you very much Glen. I bought those wheels at the last NNL East Model Show. I hand brushed the inserts using Tamiya Flat Black and looking at a picture of the actual wheels.

Thank you very much… You can get a finish like this… Just keep praticing.

It took me 7 years to get to this level using Spray Paints… The Prep work is very important and a really good Primer job helps the paint greatly. There’s a member in our club (Mr. White) that is my idol. He does AWESOME paint jobs. But he uses an airbrush.

When it comes to model cars, I rather use Spray Cans… I kept practicing and testing to get it right (I had many bad ones and sometimes I still do). Weather conditions do make a difference. Just keep practicing and you’ll notice that every model you build is better than the last one.

Absolutely beautiful!

Finish is exceptional. It’s also one of the finest engine treatments I’ve seen in quite a while, down to the hose markings and the different degrees of shine (or lack thereof) on surfaces. Superbly done.

Thank you Greg. It was a true joy working on that engine compartment.

Really fine…Well done…

WOW, man—that’s just STUNNING in white! I agree–a fabulous job on the engine, and the whole car just shines. BEAUTIFUL!

Nice work, especially the engine comprtment.

Very nice build. What made you decide to go with the white as opposed to some of the other colors this car is seen in?

You primed the car first?

How did you paint the MUSTANG letters?

frickin awesome. its so nice to see some cars amoung the million planes.
