Very nicely done! What paint did you use for the silver? Nice finish!

Stay safe.

Thank you! It is actually Tamiya Pearl Light Blue. The blue back ground kinda tricks the eye!

Super job! From a multiple Beetle owner and lover!

Nice job! I just got the Revell '68 for xmas.

GReat job. I like it.

I did one of those kits…a GREAT kit…your model is beautiful. Very nicely done!
Yeah - Tamiya kits really are worth the money.

Well!

Hot Diggety Dog, if’n that looks like My first BugCar!

Beautiful “Bug” Chops1sc! Looks great in that color and in its factory fresh appearance. Love the classic VWs.

Nicely done. Great work on the paint job :fire::fire:

You definitely chose the right brand to try out an auto build as nothing goes together quite as easily as a Tamiya kit (for the most part). This one turned out very well and you did an exceptional job with the paint job here.

Hope to see you back here building again @chops1sc

I built a 68 that replicates my 70 model .

That’s a beaut. Just needs an autobot symbol - I could send you a water slide decal if you want.

Holy Cow! That’s my Bug. The one I had when I went to school. And it looks great except mine was green with a dent in the left front fender. Mine didn’t have a front bumper and the car guy told me to go around back and pick one out of the pile. Your bumper looks brand new, just like the car. Well done!

Thank you all for the kind words! Now that I know the forum is back up I will be adding some of my builds from the last few months.

Papaof2, that yellow bug looks fantastic! That color looks so “rich & deep” and I normally don’t like yellow.

Thanks for the kind words. I’m trying to collect all my first cars. Got a completed 240Z and boxed 67 442.

Wow! I’m very envious of your first cars!
