This is my '64 Fairlane Sport Coupe finished in Wimbledon White with a red interior and a 289 CID engine, Ford Styled Steel wheels, whitewall tires and a center console.
Hi;
Nice job there!
On that Ford the only thing I would’ve changed in real life is , I would’ve added the small 63 type fins. This way it wouldn’t look so broad in the beam like it’s big Brother
Bye the way, Wimbledon white is one of my favorite colors by Ford!
Nice work, Mike. Glad to see this one put together, love the body lines. Those “Mustang” wheels look the part on that one also, very nice. Well done, Sir.

Wow that’s a nice one. Engine bay looks just like my 65 GT coupe. The chrome/red strip is really nice. Is that BMF painted over?
Thanks for sharing. I enjoy these classic cars. I even picked up an old Ford Edsel kit by AMT/Ertl. What a beast; I should get it out and start it some day.
Nice build Mike! [Y] [Y] [Y]

Stay Safe.
Thank you guys!
The chrome strip (BMF) has a decal applied in the center of it.
Beautiful work.
Thank you Chemteacher!
The color of the white paint looks perfect for a car of that era. Great looking engine bay.
Thank you JohnnyK! This paint color of white is not 100% white, but it does have a touch of yellow in it.
Very pretty!
Thank you Mark!
She turned out a true beauty Mike!! [Y][Y][Y][Y]
Thank you Joe! This kit was bought from a friend many years ago and we had lost track of each other. When we found each other, I decided to pull this kit out and build it in the colors he was originally thinking of using. I have already caught flack from a couple of other people in my travels that chastised me because I called it a “Sport Coupe” and an actual hardtop is called a “Sports Coupe”. Because of my artistic license, I stuck with the designation I had used and they didn’t like it. Damn rivet counters!
