1958 Plymouth Belvedere / Fury (Christine)

Built this using AMT Kit # 38396.

Fun Fact: In the movie they actually used a 58 Plymouth Belvedere not a Fury. A true Fury would have of had the gold chrome in the front grille and side panels. The Silver Chrome was the Belvedere.

With that being said, I built this Belvedere/Fury as the car looked on the film.

Awesome build. In the book it was a 4 door.

Thanks… that is correct… Stephen King mentioned later that he didn’t know that the Fury came only as a 2 door car.

Very cool! i made mine utilizing thr REvell Pro-mode kit.i had to graft in the lower quarter panels from a '57 Chevy!

The car just has a sinister look to it.

LOL… As AMT kits go, this one was not too bad to put together. She will enjoy the finished product.

Your model is superb! I really couldn’t see anything to critique. It just totally rocks!

I have this model too. I want to find a way to make the radio light up!
