1/72 WWII German Hf2 horse drawn wagon (heavy wagon)

Test shots of vehicle and figures (hard plastic) belonging to HaT and many thanks to Mr. Harris for sending me this excellent product.

Horses by Revell, chains for horses by Dragon, reins scratch-built and I also replaced traces with scratch built ones.
Likewise, a photo presents the wagon manned by a Revell figure with Preiser head.

Generally, Hf2 vehicles were drawn by a 4 horse team, but there exist plenty of photos featuring it drawn only by 2 horses.

I wanted to present it a little modified while I intend to make it in standard format, including review, when the market version will be ready…

Hope you will enjoy it and any opinior/suggestion is highly welcome.

Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

I always enjoy your posts. Nice work! If I can help, it would look better if you can make the wire straight or arch lower not higher and round because in reality gravity would pull the leather strips or ropes down. Hope you understand what I am trying to say… keep posting! [Y]

THS a lot Rick…[:D]

Happy that you enjoyed it and also thank you very much for your comment.

Indeed, you are right, the left outer trace of the left horse could be a little straight, but in the rush and avoiding breaking the already painted horse, it was very difficult to set it 100 percent in the right position, For such vehicles, horses draw the wagon through the traces, so if the vehicle is in the move, the traces will be straight. Like this reveals also almost all the reference images. If the vehicle is stopped, then the traces might be arch lower.

The pole of the wagon to which horses are attached through the chain is used only when the vehicle goes reverse.

Nice work there!

Mnay thanks…[:D]

Very nice, I am working on a horse drawn wagon at this time as well. Although my wagon is much smaller.

Again, nice job! Thanks for sharing

I will be posting some pics in the next few weeks.
