1/72 Stuka G-1

I just completed my Academy 1/72 Stuka G-1for the Stuka GB and thought I would post it here as well for everyone to see. It is straight out of the box except for some PE seat belts. Decals are the kit 's and gave me lots of hassle as usual for Academy. This is my first attempt at shading panel lines which I used pastels for. Anyway, enjoy and feel free to comment!

…and a picture of the pit before it got covered up. Great detail on some of these Academy kits. I have the P-51 North Africa on my bench next and its a beauty too. Just too bad about the decals but you can always use AM stuff.

great job in 1/72… you made it look much larger.

Very nice work. Great looking Stuka.

Regards, Rick

Very nice.Especially for 1/72!

Very cool… But I`ve noticed a little indent in the port wing… somebody told me that it must be filled… this Academy kit have some little things that must be fixed… Thanks for sharing…

That’s a beautiful build Dave. I really like the weathering and the finish is great. Thanks for sharing.

Dave - that’s awesome. Great job on the canopy frame - looks absolutely flawless. The interior and exterior detail is nice. Looks like a really detailed kit. Very nice.

Dave,

That’s an absolutely beautiful build. I like the weathering-subtle yet not overdone. Great job!

Mark

Good job , very sharp looking build there.
Good photos too.

Great looking build. Finishing is real nice. Ditto onthe canopy. Which method of masking did you use on it?

Love the canopy frame paint-you should get accolades for that alone.

Dan

Very nice indeed! You really achieved a great finish on such a smallish model, way better than I could have: thanks for the inspiration! And like Dan said above: awesome masking job on the canopy[bow].

Absolutely BEEEautiful! Great Job!

AMAZING Stuka

The preshading worked beautifully.

Great job very realistic finish

That’s one fine looking Stuka Dave! The weathering is very convincing and tastefully done. I especially like those big 'ol cannons. Again…great job.

Dave,
That’s a great job for 1/72 scale - doesn’t look that small. And the panel line shading is pretty good, too - that amount of control with pastels in such a small scale isn’t easy.
Well done.

Very well done.

Nice work with a small scale. [tup]

Yeah, looks more like 48 or even 32 then 72! Thanks for sharing your job!

Cheers,
Pisis
